The Odyssey Expedition

Graham Hughes is on a mission: to visit every country in the world, without flying. In his own words:

THE RULES (set by Guinness World Records™):

• - I cannot fly

• - I may not drive

• - I must use public transport

• - I must step foot on dry land

I've already set a brand new Guinness World Record™by visiting 133 countries in one year without ever leaving the ground.


So far I've been imprisoned in Congo, I got caught sneaking into Russia, ran the blockade into Cuba, fought my way into Eritrea, got wasted in Iraq, got mobbed in Afghanistan, rode on the top of a truck inKenya, drove a train in Denmark, hitched a ride on a cruise ship to The Dominican Republic, joined a tribe in Gabon and screamed at the ocean in El Salvador.But it's not over yet!!! I still have a 16 countries* left to visit... that may not seem like many, but they are ALL islands and getting to them without flying is going to be incredibly difficult. 

This could be my toughest challenge yet...!
